Why Beverages?​

Beverage packaging represents one of the largest and most visible categories of single-use waste, while also offering some of the clearest opportunities for large-scale reuse.

Around the world, beverage reuse systems are already operating at scale, demonstrating the potential for less packaging waste, lower greenhouse gas emissions, stronger supply chains, and local economic development.

 

To meaningfully reduce packaging waste, we must look beyond recycling, and design systems that are built for reuse.
