Reusable Portland Coalition
The Reusable Portland Coalition works to establish Portland as a leader in urban reuse initiatives and policy.
We're focused on reducing single-use products and packaging and diverting the creation of waste
through a circular economy. We believe in a collaborative approach that unites Portland's consumers, businesses, nonprofits and policymakers.
Our Policy Package calls for:

Past Project:
The Portland Reuse Summit
In 2025, The Portland Reuse Coalition held the Portland Reuse Summit at the Kennedy School. It was a day-long exploration into how Portland Metro could act as a leader in reuse. Presentations were given by DEQ, the City of Portland, the Sustainability and Climate Commission, reuse service providers, the Story of Stuff, Upstream, Reuse Seattle, and Metro.
